I'm new to DayZ. (Clearly since this is my first post.) To give some background, my ARMA II is from Green Man Gaming and Operation Arrowhead from Steam. I was able to play DayZ last Friday using this setup.

I followed these directions to install (http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/28781-how-to-install-full-easy-guide-retail-green-man-gaming-steam/)

The problem I am having is that when I launch DayZ using Six Launcher, my screen goes black like the game is attempting to start and then all I see is my desktop. It shows the game running in the task bar and my mouse cursor is changed to that of the one in game. Also, from the speakers I get the sound of wind blowing. I can't click anything though until I Ctrl+Alt+Delete and bring up task manager. Needless to say, the game never starts and I have to use task manager to close out of the game. This was happening last Friday too, but after the second time of trying to connect to a server it would work. I checked on my game version information and in the bottom right hand corner of each game, the following information was listed:

ArmA II: 1.11.86734

Op. A: 1.62.95248

If I can provide any more information that would be helpful, please let me know. Otherwise, does anyone know why this would be happening? I loved DayZ when I tried it on Friday, but this is frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Update: I was able to get into one server after troubleshooting a problem with my video card and rolling back the driver. This may have been the cause. I'll update this post again if anything changes.
