The problem is survivors sometimes will panic/get scared/make mistakes and kill you just for moving the wrong direction or looking at them the wrong way, add that to the fact survivors avoid other people and bandits seek them out.I personally will always try to let others live if I can, whether that means I have my sights on you from under a pine 10 meters behind you and not take the shot or if we team up and loot a city together.
