lukasaurus 1 Posted July 29, 2012 Is there a bug where loot doesn't spawn in some places? Playing last night, I was in Stary, and the supermarket was completely empty. Firstly I figured someone had already taken everything, so I started to hightail it out of there, because I have been shot there before. But I notice there is nothing there. Not even tin cans or chem lights or anything. So I went up to the barracks outside Stary, and I found some stuff. Then I headed up to the airfield. Both barracks were completely empty again. Zombies had spawned, but there were no weapons there. No ammo. No bandages. Nothing. The barracks were completely empty. Took me 45 minutes to run there as well. lukasaurus 1 Posted July 29, 2012 Nope. I ran from Stary Sopor to the barracks. Came in the back way where that huge hole in the ground is. Then ran across the airfield to the other barracks. Aggroed a whole lot of Z's but I had enough ammo in my AK to take them out when I got in the barracks and they file in. But that was empty too. So I just logged. chunkeymonkey79 86 Posted July 29, 2012 A bug with logging in, I think.I disconnected in a barracks once, started playing again a couple hours later, and when I re-logged on a different server there was absolutely no loot.So:1. Someone completely cased it out. (Unlikely, although possibly with a large group.)2. Sometimes loot doesn't spawn if you come into a server within a certain distance. (Likely.) kawaiigirl42069666xxxxxx 34 Posted July 29, 2012 Loot will despawn if you spawn next to it. This prevents people from sitting at the barracks and server hopping all day. You have to run a good distance away from the area and wait (not sure how long) before it'll spawn. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
