Getting a cold when falling down stairs with full temp

What happened: Fell down stairs in devils castle, lost 1000 blood, got shock and broken bones, temp at 100 (it was a sunny day out). Then my screen started flickering, i started loosing around 3 blood per second (after my buddy bandaged me) and i started coughing. My buddy doesn't have a cold, so I couldn't have caught it from him
