Can't loot ghillie suits?

Well I just killed a ghillie suited bandit on NW Airfield with my AKM. He had coyote BP, Bizon PP SD and a FN FAL ANPV4 with tons of mags. But what I was most excited to loot was his ghillie suit...And no matter how hard I searched in his inventory I couldn't find the ghillie suit...Is it supposed to be unlootable?

You cant take a ghillie that already is on.....The owner has to take it off and then you can transfer between players

Carry around a spare set of civilian clothes. Rob a ghillie player at gunpoint and get them to switch clothes before stealing the ghillie. Damn you ALT+F4!
