Let's play DayZ!!! or not.....

Recommended Posts

So, played all last night with some people and was looking to pick back up today. We can't get into any server though. Every time we get stuck on the loading screen when trying to connect in game. This is happening on every server we have tried, and yes we have simply waited but after 10 minutes it's a little ridiculous. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've waited like 15 minutes to join a server before, at the "loading" screen.

I typically have my old laptop onhand to do some browsing while I wait.

It is the servers, not the patch.

The server I play on let's you in, in like 10 seconds.

Maybe if the majority of the people that run "dedicated" servers would actually only run the DayZ server, solely, you would see better load times.

But they are dummies and think that since they pay 100+ a month for their server, they should be able to run multiple game servers on one connection. That is why load times are jacked.

If you buy a dedicated server for DayZ. Run only Dayz on it and maybe a vent channel, at most. Problem solved.

I've used those servers that load super quick before, but this situation is different. 10+ servers and not one is loading under 10 minutes if at all.
