Will I be able to run DayZ?

Recommended Posts

Hello i was just wondering if this laptop would be able to run DayZ, and if so, how fluently it would run, as im thinking of buying it soon.

Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-2450M Processor (2.50 GHz, 3.10 GHz with Turbo Boost, 3MB L3 Cache)

RAM: 6 GB DDR3 SDRAM (I'll most likely expand this to 8GB though)

Graphics card: AMD Radeon™ HD 7650M, 1 GB dedicated RAM

Hard drive: 750 GB Serial ATA 5400 rpm

Thanks :)

The video card is from the current generation, it is a AMD, not a Nvidia.

Anyways, it can run it fine. And there is no point in upgrading your RAM for ARMA (hardcoded to 2 gigs MAX).

Your bottleneck is more likely to be your CPU or harddisk..

Dammit, everytime i think i am out, they keep pulling me back in, by given bad advice :/

I'm just going off of benchmarks from that video card, and they're pretty low.

I play it on a i3-2310M @2100MHz, 8GB RAM, Radeon 6770M/1GB in low-med quality settings @1680x1050.

I get about 25-30 fps in average, ~20 fps in towns. Hope this helps.
