Badderz93 2 Posted July 29, 2012 I don't know about the rest of you, but I am sick to death of running everywhere, no matter where I travel to I find no vehicles, maybe a tractor if I'm lucky (wow ty sooo much my team will love this!) Why are vehicles beyond rare to me? is someone stealing them or is there something I've missed about them spawning? Just 1 car...that's all i ask! Anyone else having a similar experience? snuffy (DayZ) 5 Posted July 29, 2012 vehicals are usualy snapped up right away...then hidden somewhere only to come out at night for some looting.we come across vehicals every now and again and allso lose them....just part of the game,some players specialise in looting towns,some airport and helo crash sites and some just go searching for hidden vehicals and tents...a bit of something for everyone ;) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Baiski AU 0 Posted July 29, 2012 (edited) Yeah i have only found a UAZ in Berezino. Too tired to repair it so i logged off for the night hoping it would be there tomorrow but it wasn't. I now regret not repairing and driving somewhere safe.....I have played for 10+ Hours since then and been searching for a Car. That and with duping, groups are easily able to get vehicles up and running long before they should.Then you also got to factor in the whole internet thing, with maps that show people where everything is so they don't even have to explore to get rewarded. Demon20 46 Posted July 29, 2012 I feel yah brother. Wondered the forrested waste looking for a motorcycle yesterday. Hauling tires and fuel with me. Hoping I could stay on it if I found it long enough to find the other parts to make it safer to drive.No motocycle. The guys I play with got a van yesterday. We ran around hitting some spots then hiding that mug. But it's the "groups" van...so I am walking. I would love a motorcycle. But no luck.I would like to see the rarity hold true to the final product of DayZ. Would like to see some simple skills added to players...so you had to have a mechanic in your group to not only fix it, but keep it running. I think that between the rarity of the vehicles, a mechanic and parts, they'd be a rare find...and hard to keep going. I think that in a real world zombie/infected apocalypse...vehicles would be harder and harder to come by. Then of course is the fact that gas is only good for about a year. Diesel for about 3 with additives. So...over time...everyone would be walking. Or riding horses. Hey...we need horses!!!!Out. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
