day z demo?

is there any way of possibly playing day z so i know how well my pc will run it. i would be pissed if i shelled out for it only to find out it runs like crap on my rig

Just download Arma 2 demo or Arma 2 free and try it out.

DayZ is a bit more demanding than arma 2 though. I can run arma 2 just fine, but whenever I play on a DayZ server with more than 25 players I get lower framerates.

First of all you'd be paying for Arma2 not dayz. dayz is free.

Second I've never seen a game where so many people asked if their computer could actually play it. Does everyone have a bargain basement laptop without a dedicated grapics card?
