Neo_Angelo 1 Posted July 29, 2012 (edited) Ok i know there are a lot of graphical troubleshooting threads there but none seem to have what i have, ok so i recently bought Arma 2 and Operation arrowhead to play Dayz on and i have looked and made sure my PC was able to play them on minimal requirements when the game is installed and having played the game once for each i then proceeded to install Dayz, i tested this out and seemed to have this problem WITHOUT dayz too so really unsure as to why its happening, heres some screenshots to show you what i mean.My current specs of my PC are as follows:Windows Vista 32bit4GB ddr2 RAMATI Radeon 3600 HD @1GB (has pixel shader 3)Intel Quad core @ 2.4GHZwhile i know this isn't the most ideal spec it seems to beat the minimal by a long shot. What happens is ingame no matter what server i'm on (even happens in campaign mode) the shadows are all stretched and theres white/grey triangles in chunks of the sky and scenery, when attempting to move somewhere where theres a wall or tree it stretches the tree and wall everywhere so the game is unplayable. i've tried all sorts of things like:1. disabling shadow - doesn't work2. disabling vsync - doesn't work3. lowering graphics - doesn't work4. lowering/highering video memory in game - makes it worse5. lowering/highering 3d and screen res in game - doesn't nothing, improves nothing.6. tried to look in CCC options to auto-detect best settings - doesn't work.Am i running on to low a spec or is there something wrong with my game, i bought the games from Steam so i don't know if i can re-download and install them.I've also updated the game version to 1.62 for OA and updated to latest version of Dayz and nothing seems to have improved or changed at all. HELP!EDIT: not sure if this has anything to do with it but when on steam and you click on load OA with the DAYZ mod installed theres like a load bar of checkboxes appear before the game loads, all of them are checked apart from the end two. not sure if this means anything or not.
