Travelling Zombie Swarm/Horde

I was just thinking about the idea of a zombie horde/swarm/pack of say 50 zombies (or however many a server could maintain in a single area without stressing it) that travels round the map, not just keeping to the same populated areas like normal zombies.

I think it would add an element of excitement and randomness, say while running through a forest or along a deserted road, turn and spot a zombie horde. Do you take cover and try to hide and

wait for them to pass, or try to make a run for it? You could always try to take them on :D

This would keep people on their toes when in wilderness and deserted areas.

Just an idea.

Think of the car jam road episode of Walking Dead where the little girl gets lost after the horde of zombies travel along the highway.

I like this idea, would make wandering about in the wilderness/empty roads much more tense

Totally for this idea, and zombies in the wilderness as well as a horde in the city... Imagine a horde of 100 zombies roaming the streets and your trapped in the fire station in electro. Might stop the players massacring each other in the major towns and thinking more about survival

Yeah a swarm like in project zomboid would be great ! But then, I'd like zombies walking, not running like Ussain Bolt !
