Disappearing items from backpack

Hey guys. Today my AS50 and a box of antibiotics have disappeared from my backpack and in it's place lots of other items have appeared this is the second time this has happened to me (last time I lost a DMR) is there any way to prevent this glitch from reoccurring?

I'm fairly sure the only way to prevent this glitch from recurring is to be mindful of how much space you have in your bag.

The game will let you put more items in your bag even when it's full and will in turn delete other items. You have to keep an eye on the fullness of your main inventory and your pack in order to avoid this.

I wasn't clear enough in my first post, sorry. This happened after logging off and logging back in. When putting in items i check if there is enough space, I'm sure there was enough space for the AS50 it's ammo and the antibiotics in the pack when putting them in.

Hmmmm... Now I'm not positive, but sometimes if you make big changes in your bag and then log out, the server doesn't have time to actually save the present state of your character and you end up essentially being "rolled back" a minute or two.

That's my last guess, though, if it doesn't apply :]

I played a good hour with the AS50 before logging out, with the DMR a few days :( Guess the game doesn't want me to have sniper rifles. :D

Yes it happens when you log off too fast. Lets say you find a downed chopper and you find a box of medical supplies, so you grab some blood and morphine. If you directly log off with-in 1-3 minutes after taking those then sometimes you will log back in to nothing. It happens a lot to people who log in confrontations such as at the air fields. You shoot at them they log off and they log back in with no loot because the server did not have time to save them.

Same happened to me two days ago, had a DMR in my back pack and all of a sudden poof it was gone.

I was at NW airfield, got a can of food out of my back pack, ate it then ran to the other side, opened it again to get water and it was gone. just a glitch I think.

I've also had an Alice pack just disappear of my back to.

This is one of the main reasons i do not use the AS50, it keeps disappearing on me. I've heard people say that if you keep 1 free space in your backpack it shouldnt happen but i have not yet tested this and i dont think i ever will. I'm using the 107 and it has yet to disappear for me.
