smittyjaja 4 Posted July 29, 2012 My Question:Why don't people who spawn in items get banned AUTOMATICALLY? Is it not possible for BattlEye to search for these hackers? I may be mistaken, maybe BattlEye can search for them and does ban them? I know server admins can ban them if they know they hack and players can report people if they think they are hacking and it doesn't effect me if someone is hacking unless they kill me or something...I also know they can be banned from all DayZ servers. But, wouldn't it be easier if they could be caught automatically? redsh1rt 24 Posted July 29, 2012 Loot isn't handled server side, it's handled by the client. I'm guessing BattlEye can't tell the difference between a client legitimately looting an item and a cheat spawning items.
Riemer 23 Posted July 29, 2012 How about we give you a second-rate anti cheat engine and let YOU try and search out abuse of in-game script commands in the sea of legitimate ones?
