Why does this game take a year to load now?

Log out cause got kids or have to do things and the game punishes you for it, so fucking dumb, don't punish the gamer for having a life. If you have a problem with people logging out to exploit the game then find some other way to track and punish them, don't then assume every one logging out is doing it as an exploit.

So you just got shot at and suddenly your life calls and you have to log out? What an coincidence.

Also, I shouldn't be punished if I leave the character in game while I go for a smoke. But you people still shoot me when I'm AFK. That's just wrong.

Ie. games have rules, so play by them and you won't get punished. Pretty simple. ;)

Did your kids and things you had to do come up just after you fired and missed a few shots at another player? :P

I think he means that he has to log out a lot to watch his kids etc. and to log in again takes ridiculously long time..

It does take ages to load now, it's not related to people using alt f4 however.

It shouldn't do, from when I press enter in a server lobby I'm in-game in under ten seconds unless the server is bust. One of my past characters experienced a similar problem where I couldn't ever load into the game for some reason but I went on the last server I *knew* it worked on and got in instantly, respawned out of annoyance and then got in instantly on the server that wouldn't let me before.

Our server runs on an SSD and we don't experience any long loading times.

Why don't you just go idle in the woods and lay prone in a bush?

As well, why don't you just disconnect to the lobby, so you're not actually leaving the server, then you can just rejoin.
