Retail Arma + deleted.cherarus

Hi guys!

So my Arma career is cursed with errors and stuff. It all started with files which are not signed by a key (atached file), goes over to Bad Server Version and Ca Building Parts and ended with the deleted.chernarus problem.

Till now I was able to solve all the problems except of the deleted.cherarus problem. I've read so many posts about it and I'm sick and tired of this.

http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/29424-error-fixes/ ---> starting as CO didn't help.

http://www.elitepvpers.com/forum/dayz/1960833-dayz-bekannte-fehler.html ---> this German page tells me to copy all Addons from Arma2 into the Addon folder of OA ( I copied the files like a10.pbo.bi.bisign; air.pbo.bi.bisign .... ) Let me know if this was wrong. Didn't help either.

I deleted DayZ several times and installed it manually (like this

) and with Six Updater. Sometimes I was able to connect to a server but not further than "waiting for host" ( waited like 10 minutes). And it also just connected with the first attempt, after that the deleted.cherarus error occured.

Yesterday I deleted both games and I'm installing them right now, but I want to ask is it even possible to play Dayz with a retail (german) Arma2 version and a steam OA version? If yes, are there any other solutions for the deleted.cherarus issue, or did I make a mistake while installing/ copying the addon files?

As far as I'm aware DayZ needs Combined Operations "ArmA 2 + OA", the problem in your case might just be retail+steam, I don't think that combo works. Sorry to break it to you. I might be wrong though.
