Banned from US 704

I logged into US 704 and was trolling around the woods until I happen upon a tent filled to the brims with stuff. I promptly start looting everything I can carry until I was shot at killed. I didn't combat log or alt+f4 I died and accepted this fact wholly. I sat at the death screen and decided to abort after I'd died and come back later as a fresh spawn for a second try as I am allowed. I log in and select the server and it's telling me that I'm now banned for alt+f4ing or disconnecting to avoid death. My thoughts are that this is either the admin trying to hide his stuff or do the bodies disappear if you leave the game after getting killed and not logging in right away? I'd just like to know what the deal is.

Evidence/proof: All I can say is that I died and have nothing but didn't D/C. I think I just found an admin tent and someone got banhappy.

Hello,

Sorry to hear about the ban, the only person who can do anything for you here is the Server Admin who banned you, or the Server Host himself. You'll need to research and find that specific Server Staff to contact them either on the forums - or if they're a clan you can google them and PM them. Only way to get it solved mate, Good luck with the un-ban!

I to was banned from this server allegedly (hacking/spawning illigal vehicals per logs) when I have never done such things. On a side note me and my friends found a base with vehicles and took them when heli's where introduced.

Date/Time Aug 1st around 7 pm (maybe before 12 hours in between I logged last) Central Time zone, UTC-6

You were banned for 24 hours due to disconnecting right as you got killed and your total playtime on US 704 was 3 minutes from login until death. Yes, you raided someone's tent and were killed after looting most everything in it. The problem was that you immediately disconnected after dying and did not give the person a chance to recover their goods since your body disappeared. Again, this ban was temporary and was lifted awhile ago. Also, L2Google.

You were GUID (899e68dd54fdcf954dcbad003b680346) banned based on the follow log entry, after which you immediately logged off and didn't return until last night. You also attempted to change your name, (to Nipple Licker) possibly trying to see if it would get around the ban. The fact that you stole someone's vehicle(s) or raided someone's base has nothing to do with anything, but kudos to you if it makes you feel any better. Luckily, for you, there's thousands of other DayZ servers you can play on as this was only a local server ban. Nice thread hijack, though.

For those that don't know, the above messages come from "dayz_server\system\server_cleanup.fsm" when a non-DayZ "vehicle" is spawned in via scripts. The server then automatically blows up said vehicle and logs what you see above into the RPT.

I've confirmed that this is a false-positive, due to ejecting from a flying helicopter as you've stated. I've also removed your ban and apologize for the misconception. Now back to your regularly scheduled zombie post-apocalyptic survival horror. Happy raiding!

Alright while I agree that's a bummer they didn't get the stuff they fairly deservered it is something that's not my fault at all and is a problem with the game.
