killed an no YOU ARE DEAD screen?

Before I even logged into this server I died:

CA #500

I'm not sure what happened, but my character spawned in the wilderness and I never saw a YOU ARE DEAD screen. Very weird. It took a while to load the game and when it finally did I was dead....

oh well looks like there are more alpha bugs to kill.

UPDATE, I switched servers and I got all my stuff back however now I am at the shore.

Looks like my location was deleted somehow but at least my gear is still here. So bizzare, has anyone else had this happen?

Happened to one of my group members earlier today, logged in and he fell through the floor - just had to wait for the passout thing to pass, and he was ready :)
