how to find a ip?

so me and my friend r looking for servers to play and i found one. but he cant seem to find it. is there any way for me to see the ip address of the server i am on?

Just google this: dayz gametracker "server name"

You'll find the gametracker.com website for the server and it's IP which is listed there.

just press i and look at the server name? like: "US 123"

You can get the IP-address of the server from http://www.ip-details.com/ by doing IP search.
