We killed them as they drove their bus around, then teleported to us, killed us all with some kind of aimbot and left with the bus as soon as they respawned.That was on US 486 (quebec).Then we moved to US 106 and they followed us, they know the exact position of our camps for some reasons, and we have many camps.The name of one of them is ''Gwyvern''. He deserve some attention I believe. Drogur (DayZ) 169 Posted July 29, 2012 (edited) Often change player name...Otherwise others can easy track your movements from server to server by using gametracker or such....If he knows where you are on map when in game...then he´s using a map hack... theonlykarma 0 Posted July 29, 2012 I am part of Daedrick's clan/group, and I can confirm that they are hackers. On the Quebec server, they were looting bodies and shooting at the same time. We were not desynced or lagging out either. Another clan member saw them near our camps on US106 looting every tent they could near our camp, and they have been on every server we have played on, usually a day after we start. They found our camp on Quebec just hours after we took their bus, and not even an hour after we noticed them on the server, they were very, very close to our camps. Barronism 88 Posted July 29, 2012 Don't put map markers on the map. They're server wide, so if you are marking your maps to remember their location. You're alerting everyone of its location.Your best bet is to use one of the many interactive maps that allow logins. Then post notes on it and send a link to friends of that map. To ensure you don't get constantly raided.Also, as was previously mentioned. Make sure you change your names and try to avoid putting clan [HI] tags before your names. thunderpimp 78 Posted July 29, 2012 You want people to investigate for you? We as the community are supposed to provide proof, screenshots, video... something for them to warrant an investigation. If they looked into every hackusation on the forums, they would go crazy. We have to help them out man. For instance, last night on a US Dallas server, I saw a guy hack in an ammo crate and dig through it to find an MK48, but I did not record it or take a screenshot, so no point in posting about it. We are as pissed as you about hackers, we definitely would like to ban them and we will put this player on our list.We like this game and like to play it legit. Please don't worry if you see the server going down after some hacker teleports everyone into one single location, it's only to protect the camps from being looted, we know alot of clans have camps here and we like the dynamics it provides.
