Dying, and guns... Need some advice

I've pretty much gotten a decent handle on the game, major cities, most items.....

My issue is when I start getting goo gear, food water, good weapons, lots of ammo I always die to an unknown person.

I would say most of my deaths are from people I can't see.

Whenever I go out of a building, or move somehwere I always check around the area, whether that be me zooming in a bit, or what not.

Yes, sometimes it's snipers, but if it is how come I never spot them. Every sniper can't own a ghillie.

I found a DMR and an AKM and picked up the DMR with 2 cartrades (40 shots)

I shot at 1 person while in the top of the firehouse and needless to say I agroed over 40 zombies.

I had to keep using my DMR shots (1 per zombie) to kill them, and they kept coming, over and over till I had used up the 40 rounds and I had to use an axe.

My question is, how do you snipe people without agroing millions of zombies, especially using the DMR?

You do it from outside a city, OR you fire, kill the person, and then get on the move to lose the zombies you just aggroed.

Easiest way to not get killed by unseen players is don't be in a city or airfield :P your alot less likely to run into them then. As for the aggro you either run, I imagine quite afew snipers lose the aggro just disconnecting and reconnecting, but thats down to yourself and if you want to play the game the way its supposed to be, or take short cuts..

the game has been quite silly the past few weeks, the zombies would just stand in a spot and not do much , only 3 out of 50 would do anything, but holy shit last night EVERY single zombie in cherno/elektro was on my ass in no time. and i feel your pain i hate when hackers kill me by shooting through buildings. the worst is the silenced shots and you just drop dead in seconds and have no clue where they came from. people are dicks and will lay on the top of buildings or the hill side and just wait till your in the right spot and drop you.

When sniping, the DMR typically draws zombie aggro. It's suited to long distances, obviously, hence the lack of city usage. This will still draw zombie aggro, but they will only run about 40m towards you before giving up.

one thing you might also want to do is get accustomed to the landscaping of the city and think which parts of the outskirts provide snipers with the best coverage, with that you can easily find the safest routes to be safe when leaving city's. for example if you leave cherno, try using the cliffside northwest of the residentials/northern hospital, or if your leaving electro, whatever you do, don't go anywhere close to the north fire house unless your asking for it

Because usually the snipers are in locations where zombies cannot hear them or get to them, or lose interest before getting the full distance.

In cherno there are ALOT of tall buildings that snipers can get on and kill people from there, and not aggroing the zombies in the process, but usually attracts the attention of other players.

In elktro the hills north of the city are good for sniping as you can see "most" of the key loot locations while being far enough away from zombies not to get hit by them.

Learn to spot these locations, and then put something in the way like buildings, walls etc. If you have too sprint from location to location, zig-zag if you are getting shot at, staying put is a snipers best friend while zig zagging just makes it hard from them to hit you.

You dont see them because of the distance between you, usually more than 500m and they are hidden in bushes/tree line so they are even harder to see with the shade of the foilage, or they are that high and using third person to look around, and then moving to the edge to shoot.

Snipers are annoying but learning how to avoid them is the best solution, and never go in the open nearby these spots. Always going to get killed, unless its a low pop server/ you havent heard any shots (still risky.)

Good Luck with attempting these methods, doesn't always work, if they want to kill you bad enough, they will get you.
