Hey every one just a question how many of you people with out night vision. leave your gamma and brightness at default at night?

I know i prefer to leave them down, for me it increases the fear factor/ makes me pay alot more attention.

I leave them down because turning them up didn't help for me. Lol, but if they did I probably would leave them down anyway, otherwise there would be no need for flashlight/flares or NVGs.

fone of my favorate times, camping around fequented spot by survivors and hide at night, when they get close or aint lookin at me, throw a flare at/ around them, watchem run.

Considering how I almost always get stuck in a night time server, even after server-hopping, I just resorted to cranking up the gamma to the max, and also raising the brightness so everything isn't tinted blue. Night time is otherwise nearly unplayable. I'd rather not fumble around in the dark like an idiot and bump into a zombie, because I'd be really disappointed in dying like that after getting all the items I've gotten.

I've tried a little bit of everything. But fact is: night sux^^

I would like it more with gamma down, but if your friends are using gamma up and you can't even see them without light, and they don't want you to use light, cause they can see everything, and they run far in front of you, and you get lost, and they tell you, omg turn your gamma up...that sux too^^

So rocket have to lock gamma to give your flashlight even a right of existence :)

I used to leave it down when I didn't have NVGs, then again I always use to use a remmington so I'd have the flashlight without sacrificing the ability to shoot.

I think I have the best time in this game during night.

If you just spawn, it's kinda hard, because you really can't see anything (in my case, even with full brightness+gamma it's still pitch black). In this cases, I try to get my bearings from my spawn point and head to the closest city (usually either Cherno or Electro), sticking to the coast. Once nearby (can tell from the buildings blocking the sky) I use my flashlight, but very carefully, aiming at the floor and trying to sprint to the closest lootable building.

Once I got chemlights, it's another story. Their "soft" light allows you to move with more precision while staying virtually invisble (other players have to be close to spot the light coming from you and zombies don't seem to notice it).

Have you ever gone inside the office (or school) building in Electro with a chemlight? I tell you, it made me remember Silent Hill for a moment (and the game's music is pretty similar too!). Besides, Pyramid Head might not be lurking around the corners, but other survivors scare me just as much.
