Weird Problem

Hey guys. There is this weird bug in my game.

On the menu, when you put your mouse over on of the buttons (IE Multiplauer) it highlights. Well, for me, it rapidly highlights each button. I don't really know how to explain it. If I took a screenshot it would look all fine cuz it's a still image. It also happens ingame to my inventory, which prevents me from consuming food and putting on bandages. Help!

Were you using the Steam Overlay or had you minimized the game before this problem started? I have this problem occasionally and this is the reason. Simply reopen and close the steam overlay a few times, and if that doesnt work try minimizing and reopening the game. This usually fixes it for me.

I'll try your suggestions. And yes, I play through Steam. So I'll try both your suggestions. Thanks :)
