tufting 21 Posted July 28, 2012 Hello.Today I had an awesome DayZ experience, so I decided I'd make a recording of it while playing.Fraps is the only actual recording software I have, but I realised it only takes 30 second videos unless you pay for a better version- bit crap.I have Xfire and the recordings are pretty good and you can upload them to the website. So I was wondering is there a way to get xfire working on DayZ?For some reason the Xfire in-game doesn't work or detected ArmA2 while playing DayZ so I can't use in-game chat or record videos. If there is no way Xfire can work...Would anyone recommend a good, free recording program I could use? icomrade 201 Posted July 28, 2012 Xfire does not detect ArmA 2 CO/OA if you are running a beta client (as in ArmA 2 OA beta). So, it will not work with DayZ since you are required to run a beta build; Xfire in-game does not work with ArmA 2 at all.
tufting 21 Posted July 28, 2012 Find it strange because I've seen videos of DayZ on the Xfire website, so surely people are recording with it somehow?
CW-Bulldog 3 Posted July 28, 2012 Try using Day Z Commanderhttp://www.dayzcommander.com/In the settings there is a check box for "Mutli GPU Support"Try that out and see if it uses both of your GPU's!
xtheprokx 0 Posted August 22, 2012 Xfire is now supporting DayZ, so you can take pictures, videos etc.
