Respawn/suicide cooldown

Would it be possible to add a cooldown to respawning/suicide? Or somekind of a punishent if you suicide, say in the first 5 minutes after you just spawned?

It looks like most of the players are spamming the respawn/suicide to get to the spawn they want, rather than accept what the random spawn system gave them. It messes up the game, especially the statistics like the average life expectancy.

Well players have friends they want to play with and since there is no feature to select spawn its normal players will "respawn" until they get closer to their friends.

Implementing 5 minutes cool down wont really solve it as those who want to play together will do it, especially as alternative is some 1h run or more to meet up.

True it wont fix it, but it would make the lone players think twice should they off themselves for a chance of better spawn location. I'm not here to argue that is the current system better or worse than if we could select the spawn points, but how to fix the current one as it is abused in current state.
