As per topic: I was driving a boat when server went offline. Did any admin turn off item-drop in water?

Is there a safe server to log into not to lose all inventory and backpack?

Not if I find a server with "enableItemsDropping = 0;" in description.ext

Uh, I don't know if you know this but you just posted yourself editing your mission file. Which by DayZ rules is a blacklisting offense.

EDIT: Also to anyone wondering how to enable that, we cannot, because it's in the mission file and not the server config file.

Ok, loaded into DE 791. All my stuff is on me, but I can't move (character doesn't swim). :(

I didnt changed a line in it. Its default in 1724. :-) Just showed him that its disabled.
