A Story in Elecktro (Warning: Very Long)

OK here is a story all about how, some bandits lives got flipped, turned upside down, so if you'd like to take a minute just sit right there, I'll tell you how I caused some bandits some grief and despair.

Anyway, me and my buddy had just died after a mishap at the NWA, we both spawned and found each other in Elecktro, there were around 25-30 players in the server so we knew to expect some encounters. Now first off I don't know if the zombie spawn has increased but there were so many zombies in Elecktro it was unreal.

Luckily I found an AKM with 4 mags that someone I guess had dropped as it was in a residential house and my buddy got his hands on a double barrelled shotgun with a few rounds. We decided to hit some other houses to find some loot but had no luck and found ourselves on the eastern entrance to Elecktro, we crawled up a hill to see if we could spot any players in the city, as we were looking my buddy heard a player run past us and stop next to a tree, we carefully crept up on him and shot him in the head, as we went over to loot his body around 15 zombies had gathered around us obviously drawing some attention as a ghillie suited fellow started shooting at us with what sounded like a DMR from a top a roof.

In the carnage we both managed to avoid the incoming fire, kill the zombies and retreat behind the hill, feeling cocky we decided we would go back into Elecktro to find our would be assassin and make him regret seeing us. After waiting a few minutes and scouting from on top of the hill again we looted the survivor we killed earlier giving us many tools, lots of food and drink, an ALICE pack for me and a M1911. Then looking through the recently looted binoculars my buddy saw the Ghillie man in the fire station in the middle of town looking at us, and again taking a few shots but missing.

We headed towards the firestation on the outskirts of town where my buddy found himself an AKM with 2 mags, we were set for a firefight and headed back into town. Upon entering town we saw many zombies surrounding the office building near the shop and seconds later we heard gunshots from inside, going prone in some grass we saw a survivor fighting off what seemed like all of Elecktro's zombies, we decided to leave this man to his fate and continued towards the other fire station in search of the Ghillie man.

After carefully making our way to the fire station, shots still sounding from the office building, we entered the fire station and searched it, he was not there. Feeling a little let down we decided to go and see if the office building man had perished, making our way there we heard some more shots, he was still alive on top of the office building and had seen us, he shot at us missing, his attention turned back towards the zombies who were closing in on him giving me a chance to sneak into the building and my buddy to cover the ladder exits from a distance.

I killed a few zombies making my way up the stairs giving away my presence in the building and I could hear him shuffling about on the floor above me, I decided to go outside on the first floor balcony and make my way up the ladder to the second floor where luckily I saw him go around a corner without him seeing me. I waited and tried to figure out what I could do to kill him, I found a grenade in my inventory that I do not remember picking up and decided to throw it to where he would be, but I overthrew it and it went off the building, so I though "Fuck it" and rushed his location where I saw him lying down not facing me and I proceeded to shoot him 3 times killing him.

This attracted more zombies than I have ever had after me and the had already begun coming out of the door behind me, the ladder I was near wouldn't work forcing me to climb to the top of the building where I would have to stay for the next 5 minutes, my buddy climbed the ladder to the floor below me and cleared the zombies at the bottom of the ladder, I climbed down and helped him clear some more zombies taking my zombie kills to around 70 and my buddies to about 40. I then looted the person I killed for some more ammo and my buddy took him ALICE pack.

We then needed to loot the shop, but we saw a survivor armed only with an axe heading inside, normally I would leave someone like this as it was obvious they had just spawned but because they were going to where we were going I couldn't risk letting her live and shot her down, not bothering to loot her. Upon entering the shop my buddy immediately shouted "Survivor" and I heard 3 shots, he had killed another survivor who had a compass on her which was the only tool we needed other than fencing kits and all the other not so important stuff.

The main entrance to the shop was fenced off and we found ourselves trapped by zombies yet again, but this time I was not so lucky and got knocked out by a zombie, my buddy fought them off my body and I came back around with only 3000 blood, we decided to get the hell out of there.

Before heading north we went to the hospital to get supplies and in the process I got a blood transfusion. We decided to leave via the East exit Elecktro heading up the hill we had been perched on when we got sniped at earlier, thinking we were safe we started laughing about the hectic 2 hours we had just spent in Elecktro when what sounded like an M107 fired at us 3 times missing us, we shat our pants and booked it into the woods where decided to call it a day.

It was the most fun I have had on DayZ and I still cannot believe how lucky we were on the hill.
