How to join own server without Six updater or Commander?

How can i join my own server without waiting for it to show in the damn serverlist of Six Launcher/Dayz Commander?

I have the server ip, whats the easiest way?

Well, you have to make a shortcut on your desktop for it and then it should work.

"...\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" "-mod=*arma2path*;Expansion;ca;Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;@dayz" -nosplash -name=xxx "-profiles=xyz"

(and yes i have it set to the beta in my expansion folder and it works fine)

thats what mine looks like, the -nosplash -name and -profiles is optional, not realy needet for most systems, i use it cause had some trouble with my profile path in the past.

There are tools out there to help you creating that shortcut, like the Arma 2 Launcher that gives you a nice gui to do the trick.

Then in the game if your server is not in the list you can enter your IP (remote button) and connect to your server, there is even a way to connect to it over the shortcut.
