loot where there should be loot

Recommended Posts

So lately I've been running around the map because I don't have a lot left to do in DayZ, I have pretty much everything. I've been exploring the more isolated corners of the map, and i've found some surprising stuff. There are some pretty unique structures, unmarked on the map around chernarus. I was pretty excited when I found them, however they were just there for show it seems, because they had no loot. One example of this is a dam in the north-west. I think it's the biggest dam on the map, and from behind it you can actually go under the dam, making it a (sort-of) building, where I thought there would be loot, but it's not a loot-spawn point.

Another perfect example is in Rify bay, north of Berezino. There's a sunken ship in the water there, with half the ship protruding from the water. I was very excited when I found that, and I actually took the time to hide my gun and backpack in the rocks on the bay and swim to the boat, alas you couldn't even walk onto the boat, it could've just as well have been a rock.

I propose that players be rewarded for exploration. This has already been implemented in the castles. Why not the other places?

Thanks for bringing this to Dev's attention. I was hoping someone would spend the time finding these cool landmarks.
