Silently kill zombies with a knife

So I was looking for a friend that was hiding on a water..tower and the city he was in was the most infested area I've ever seen..So I was thinking about a silent knife..system sortof thing. Where you can sneak up behind a zombie and perform a knife attack from behind without any other zombie hearing it.

Be very hard to implement a knife as a melee weapon in Day Z, so hard it really wouldn't be worth the effort.

Also like others have said, a hatchet is your best friend.
