Fractured, respawn button grayed out (Bug)

I saw a guy with civilian camo and some camo'd weapon running about.

Right after I saw a newbie (no weapon, standard clothing) running right behind him.

The newbie and I both followed him into a building over a trip wire right in front of some stairs.

We got shot down by the guy we followed.

The newbie died, I... on the other hand had a broken leg.

He tied my wound so I wouldn't bleed anymore and ran off.

With no blood losing I couldn't die out and seeing as the stairs were blocked off by the trip wire I had no way out.

So I told myself to press ESC(ape) and respawn, to just be amazed that the "respawn" button was grayed out.

I've been hearing numerous times that it doesn't work as it's supposed to (broken bone = respawn button /enable)

Just here to point it out.

And yes I know I've been trapped, I had a pretty good laugh after I found a zombie that glitch through the stairs to kill me.. Else I'd have been stuck there now still. xD

Afaik respawning was removed in the latest patch, or perhaps the one before that :)

Yes but OP is right it's supposed to work if bones are broken.
