So I have problems with joining servers.

Um. Every time I try to connect to a server I spawn either as a bird and see no zombies or humans, or it says bad version, server reject connection. I have 1.60 and 95417 and It is exactly what it says in the server's name. But it still won't let me join.

OR it just gives me a black loading screen for ever. I waited 2 hours, for real and no connection... Anyone please help?
