Cubist Graphical Glitches

Since the latest patch I've been getting these weird glitches. They seem to be localized on specific objects, and when that object is in my field of view they spread out all over the screen.

First I tried validating my files through Steam and rebooting, then I tried reinstalling both Arma 2 and OA, still having the same issue.

you could have saved time from reinstalling by reading the forums a bit. everyone is getting it. its a 1.7.2.4 patch issue.

That's a relief though, this is exactly the kind of glitches you often get when your graphics card is broken or you've overclocked too much. Good to hear it's not an issue with my hardware.

i get stuff like this in cherno and before this new patch @_@

all taken a few days ago with 1.7.2.3. New patch problems though eh? @_@ for some reason I was thinking it may have to do with the sun somehow

I'm getting the same thing too (like everyone) but mine started around the same time as the ArmA2 1.62 update so I figured it was one of the recent beta patches that was causing it.

Most of the graphical glitches I have ran across are centered around the dead soldiers that are static in the game. So any place that has them has the glitches. Also prior to this most resent patch barbed wire was doing almost the same thing just not as bad. Which may be what you are seeing in your pics internetTAB.
