bad version connection rejected

hi all,

i recently bought arma 2 combined operations and i wanted to play day Z. then when i want to join any random server it says bad version connection rejected. it does this with every day z server. with mission servers it doesn't do this. can someone help me with fixing this problem?

You need to update ARMA 2 to the latest beta patch. Most servers update their version within an hour

i downloaded the link but what do i do now? i'm stil young so i dont really understand

It needs to update BattlEye through the game client now. Just launch a server and wait in the lobby until you see it say something like "update successful, restarting". The lobby is where you see the list of players, and where you click "ok". It will probably fail a few times but that's ok, it will go through eventually.

you meanthat i should do that on a server i create or on a server from somone else. i cant get in any servers so i can only do it mine, right?
