Grafiqal 1 Posted July 28, 2012 I currently own a server which I have recently purchased in last few days. I would like to apply updates and change settings which will require restarting the server. So to avoid players getting kicked all the time, am I able to lock my server? or at least put a password on it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Bravo-Two-Zero 57 Posted July 28, 2012 Password no, temporary lock yes. Best practice is warning players 2 to 5 min in advance for a server restart and lock the server so new players can't join.
