Server running incorrect version

We did the application process and were accepted. However, it looks as though according to the log files the hive is not updating. So the server is reporting "This server is running an incorrect version of the server" message.

We have the patches up to 07/27/2012

Any ideas? Is this because we are not added to main server yet?

also to add more info for this

the dedicated server box runs windows server 2008 r2 64bit it also has 7 ips i am using 66.150.121.18

i have opened the ports in bound and outbound, i have installed server too many times to count, i have read forum upon forum and have tried everything that people have talked about but it stills says incorrect server version please contact dayz administrators. any help would be appreciated.

it seems hive is not communicating.

and the server version is from steam

the server is us 1252

Hello folks,

Our server(US 1372) is getting the same error as well. Really frustrating. Any and all help would be appreciated, Host Altitude seems to be stumped.

Same here on DE 930 from gamed.de

"This server is running an incorrect version of the server side application. You cannot play on this server. If you are a server admin please contact DayzStaff"

Server was updated yesterday with 1.7.2.4

Login works some hours ago, now i can login lobby but after continue i get this error.

Now its all ok maybe it was gamed.de, they moved the servers

Are you using the correct hive files of 0.7.2?

@TS, make sure you to run 1.7.2.4 with beta build 95389 and server-side files 0.7.2 and even more important, install http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29 (x86, not x64).

yes running the most recent hive 0.7.2

but i wll try the microsoft v86

has anyone heard of the hive trying to communicate with the main ip for the dedicated box instead of the server ip

and if that is true how to i get the hive to ommunicate with server ip instead of the main ip

It will and can only communicate over the main IP.
