Survivor/player-skinned zombies

Found in the areas where normal zombies aren't (woods, roads, ponds, deer stands) these are unfortunate victims of not having a proper medical insurance (.45 slug in your temple when you're about to die). They should come in all varieties of player skins (survivor and bandit atm). It would also be cool if they were using some kind of sitting animation most of the time so you won't immediately understand if he's a real survivor eating beans or a zombie.

I actually really like this idea, it will make trusting players even more difficult, but they should be given a tell tale sign that they are zombies and should only start to run at you when your close making it more difficult to tell if they are zombies or survivors.

I honestly don't know about this but forests do seem empty most of the time.

Also there is already a zombie face in profile settings.

There would be no point in pretending to be a zombie because your character would have a primary gun either in his hands or on his back, or a secondary gun in his hands

Unless you like walking around without a gun you will be noticed

And if you play on regular servers, it will display your name.

Nice suggestion but better camoflage would be a ghillie suit while pretending to be a bush

well this isn't a player based action.

What he's saying is in the remote areas where (if you imagine) a player has been bitten and wandered off into the woods slowly transforming into a zombie, then is halfway transformed so they've got enough to resist but they still want to eat.

They also haven't gotten the trademark face or walk of zombies yet as they haven't fully transformed.

But if you get close they just pick up and sprint after you as they cant fully control themselves.

Like the idea. Forests lacks threat in the present. Safety is for the already dead.

Yeah, pretty much that. They can sit there and, maybe, cough or growl a little bit. Maybe mumble some stuff. But otherwise look like a survivor, gun and all (for example a Winnie with no ammo so you don't get any uber loot from them).

Just something to add a threat and activity to the forests.

How about disguising as a zombie? Kill a zombie or make a skin for it? Stolen idea from Walking dead.

Just for "safely" scout a town for a loot. While disguised, can´t run, can´t have a gun in hand and survivors see you as regular zombie.
