Head north. Hunt down a player with gear. Problem solved.

Yesterday it only took me 15 minutes off spawn to grab myself an L85A2 LWS, AS50, MK 48 Mod 0, NVG's and rangefinder, +every toolbelt item, and a coyote backpack.

But if you really want rangefinders, go on ANZ 3 and bring me 4 wheels.
