My aim has been messing up

My character seems to lock onto something with his aim and if I look left or right instead of moving my character its just my view. I can't seem to unlock this target can anyone help? It's really ruining my gameplay.

Go to Keyboard settings and look for "Free look" . See which button is assigned to it. I don't remember the default, I think its "enter". You enabled "free look" by mistake, so that your mouse control's character's head, not his whole body.

Default might be (numpad *) that's what it is for me anyways.
