It would be great if you could (with a direct hit) set a zombie on fire with a flare!

This would really help out in the "oh fuck I'm outta ammo" situations and furthermore could act as a distraction to other perusing Zombies.

Maybe the effect could be based on chance rather than guaranteed, so as not to be overpowered, but even so it would add a really useful tool to your arsenal of escape tactics.

maybe but I don't think it can be done with this engine in the way you might think, but ive played I44 and that had a burning system in it with the flame-thrower.
