Some DayZ Suggestions

1. Stop Players being able to save in Airfields and large towns to prevent the abuse of spawning into hot zones to kill only players.

Numerous times We/I have cleared an area or a building only to have a player spawn in behind where We/I have cleared with the sole purpose of killing anyone in that area or building then take gear swap server repeat.

This would discourage the campers and server hoppers.

Suggestion would be none save zones forcing players to save outside certain zones.

2. Add a Smell Icon which makes zombies Smell you if you havent swam (washed) in the last numbers of days.

3. The mod is in desperate need of a morality system and a way to identify hostile players.

Since the update (1.5.8.2) its just DM, with zombies becoming just a small extra in the DM match.

One idea I had was to create a new animation that only none murderers can use. Like a wave or something and to bring back the bandit skin or force a type of face.

4. Add a way to join a players group with a system much like shactac fireteam hud. so that you can identify members of your group and their close proximity formation to you.

5. A way to disable all ingame text chat. I dont care what the latest film some 12 year old watched is.

Nor do i care to read his "FuK U Nygar" comments all day long.

I would like the OPTION to remove all chat and immerse my self more into this great mod.

6. Remove the ability to use VON in anything but Direct.

6a. Support the integration of Acre !!

7. Force crosshairs off and force name tags off . Alot of the new servers popping up dont know whats going on. force the options on the server via scripts or by telling them. I would say force 3rd off as well

but you would loose allot of the below puberty demographic.

8. balance the map by adding barracks to the NE airfield

1. This issue will be solved when characters become bound to a single server (a mentioned plan). For now, it's Alpha, and this is the least of our worries.

2. I lol'd, mostly indifferent.

3. I really disagree. Just be more careful. Direct Chat voice being fixed will improve player interactions. But really, this is not a problem that should be worried about now.

4. Maybe. Not sure how your specific example works, too lazy to google lol.

6a. rocket has discussed issues with importing ACRE. Use the search tool.

7. Nope. Some people prefer certain settings, having a range of options is best. Your demographic comment is unnecessary and offensive.

8. I don't think this needs to be done. In my opinion, this game needs less item spawns.

Hmm im up for the removal of all communication except direct, but why the inclusion of ACRE? I think the only way that might be good is if you had just walkie-talkies which only worked over say 200 meters.

7/. I think servers should be of varying difficulties but should state what difficulty they are in the title.

Yer probably was uncalled for.

Lets put it this way then the mod has PVP elements you should not be able to see over a wall, hill, bush etc etc with your magic shoulder camera.

Yes it looks pritty if your new to the game but if your serious about the game play its wrong.

Acre uses a Direct system as well plus finding Acre radios in loot for you and your group would add some extra dynamics into the game.

Finding the enemys radio freq and listening in etc etc

Using a radio to transmit for help

Using it to transmit for help but killing the helper etc etc

People have different opinions on the balance of elements like 3rd person.

If you are against it, then don't play on servers that allow it. It's the easiest option. There are plenty of non-3rd person view servers.

I know how ACRE works mate, its a Teamspeak 3 Plugin, theres your one major downfall because everyone will need Teamspeak to play and everyone most probably doesn't want Teamspeak.

Your idea is good but will likely be used on private servers if ever the option arises.

Apologies if I misunderstood.

I was going off of this statement:
