Here's a suggestion.

When browsing the in-game scoreboard, instead of players being ranked on zed kills... they should be ranked on days alive. Stats such as zed kills, could be tracked online. Everything, from food/drink consumed to distance travelled and player kills gets tracked, and reset to 0 upon the players death.

Just a thought... If survival is the name of the game here - i'd rather be known as a survivor - not a zombie killer, nor bandit.
