Where are the bikes?

So seeing this is a modern day country and ultrarealistically every single car you come across is broken why not put bikes in. It fits the setting perfectly! Also if implemented they should NOT be 'car rare' and not be as common as muck.

I'm thinking make shit bikes that might need parts, lack suspension (makes you bounce like crazy off road), can't carry items (baskets and what not) or have other flaws be quite common while mountain bikes are very rare.

I would like other peoples views on this and more ideas if you want!

I haven't seen one myself, but I know for a fact that the game has a pedal bike (driven one a few times while being chased by the Ruskies)

aye there's already some in arma 2 but maybe their working on something different?

I know there are bikes in ARMA but I thought they weren't implemented into DayZ... Yet.

Give it time they will be im sure :) they just need to implement it in a way that is approachable such as making the wheel model etc so that you can scavenge the correct parts and repair it with out the thinking of "this car wheel is not a bike wheel".
