Game is fine. Its buggy needs fixing and tweaking. Still enough to be enjoyable.

The main problem I have is the damn servers. Tons of servers out there running different Dayz versions and/or wrong Arma 2 patches.

One can filter Dayz and get 500+ servers with 1/2 of those servers running different Dayz versions and Arma 2 patch/beta versions.

I'm just one server admin, but we tend to run the latest DayZ version as soon as its announced as ready for public testing.

Arma 2 patches we tend to be a little slower on, just because we've gotten a few bad patches in the past, but, Arma 2 patches for 1.61.91545 and 1.62 are all backwards compatible to other compatible 1.61.91545/1.62 Arma updates so you shouldn't see any problems unless you're trying to connect to an Arma beta server lower than 95248.

Try filtering the patch number you are running, not 'DayZ'. That way the server browser only show's results with the patch you are looking for.

Using the launcher you shouldn't have this problem, I've only found it with the updater. On the flip side though, launcher is MUCH slower to load a game, get in, and ends up lagging the crap out of most people if you leave it running while playing.

But yeah, is a bit sucky.

What launcher are you using? ArmA II Launcher loads the game fine and works a whole lot faster than six.

Yeah I use the Arma 2 launcher prior to the Arma 2 patch being officially released. Then today they updated and released another beta patch. Went back to the Arma 2 launcher. Going to try and filter using the patch number to see how well that works. Thanks.
