Suggestion to make dayz more frustrating and more challenging

Here is my list to change dayz for the better:

1. Spread the drop of guns and bullets far across the map or town. A gun and bullets are SO convenient when they spawn. This will encourage teamwork as guy A spawns closer to guns, guy B spawns closer to bullets, one gathers the rounds and the other gathers the guns and they must find one another mid point and establish TRUST.

lower bullet spawns by 50% make them more rare. I would even make guns damaged by default and require them to be repaired before they can even be used.

Imagine you give a bandit bullets, they try to shoot you but their gun jams. You have a knife and can kill them while they try to repair their gun.

2. Animals should be harder to hunt, and meat should SPOIL.

3. When zombies are killed they must be burned or they will regenrate and return to life after 5 minutes.

4. Blood transfusions can be injected with poison and be tainted by players. Allow blood transfusions to be also lethal.

5. Make guns JAM when fired rapidly like an idiot.

6. allow hand combat with knives and even crafted weapons.

7. after bandits kill a player the dead player automatically spawns three new zombies in place of the player.

Some of your idea seem very over the top, and #7 makes no sense.

However, #6, 5, & 3 are great. I'm all for worn guns, even when freshly spawned they should never be perfect. Not sure how people got this rapid fire leads to jams all the time. Most of these rifles are mil spec; we're talking military grade m4 and m16s. Most of the time its the weather elements, abuse by the user, and how many bullets get put through it (without cleaning) are the major factors. My ar has not jammed up because I decided to rain bullets on a target, which I've done a few times.

The burning idea is great, but it may be too much of a classic zombie idea.. These are different.

Hand combat, with knives too, are a must. We should be able to pull out our survival knives and slash at anything threatening.

why #7 makes sense.

it does not punish griefing directly, however it makes it that much harder to continue with a loud and not silenced weapon. There should be a greater threat and greater consequences to killing players in a zombie apoc.

I would even suggest that some players would DIE without the aid of others, so their own violence is their undoing and would have much greater consequences. However if you are a skilled killer and predator and can actually manage to get a silenced weapon with ammo then by all means grief away, you earned that right and it was tough but you managed it anyway. Right now anyone with a lee enfield can be a griefer so why hunt for more expensive gear when a regular rifle can kill just as easily.

My thoughts on your ideas:

Idea 1 - Bad idea. The spawning is just fine for weapons. It will not establish trust. It will however, empower bandits who have weapons to more easily pick off others. Weapons jamming is bad idea. Having to repair weapons is an option, but I would not start with them broken.

Idea 2 - I like the idea of animals being harder to hunt. I would also like to see predatory animals in the forest i.e. bears or wolves. That could lead to them destroying your tent if you keep it stock full of food.

Idea 3 - Unless it is a headshot

Idea 4 - The more I think about this, the more I think that transfusions should be used for good only.

idea 5 - No. Some guns are meant to be fired rapidly.

Idea 6 - I think you could add the ability to use the hunting knife win combat.

Idea 7 - No. That would not be helpful. Many times, bandits will kill you from a distance or in doors. If you are inside, the Zombies will not pose a threat.

spawn 3 zombies on location of player that got killed by a bandit. wtf is this, this doesent make any sence, nor does it make any better, it just makes it retarded.

make guns and ammo even harder to find, so that people will kill even more players.

Poison Blood bags and offer to people when i can just put a bullet between their eyes and save me time and blood bags.

zombies spawn after 5 seconds if you dont lit them on fire and notify all the players around you that youre here. oh and if there is a pack of zombie after you, you will never get rid of them because of them respawning as you kill them.

lol, nice one bro. how will they kill more players? by throwing their guns and ammo at one another?

logic fail.

I take a blood bag and poison it, then leave it dropped on the ground, bags look the same, you pick up the bag and administer it to your friend...killing him.

again thinking is not your primary focus I understand that....
