Game Time Limit

I was playing on a server the other day, and in the middle of heading for some woods every player on the server was suddenly spawned in a large open field in a group. Of course everyone started shooting one another and I was killed, but what was the reason for the spawn? Does this happen when the Game Time is up, or was it something the server admin did just because they could? Thanks.

That makes sense. It was a shame, I had just fixed a broken leg after crawling around for like 20 minutes, just to be spawned there and killed :/

The way people talk hacking is a serious problem, though me and mine migrate fairly frequently and we've never encountered an issue.

I've grown more accustom to playing on lower traffic servers and not sticking to one server for too long. I'd rather not take any chances.
