1.7.2.4 can't join servers

Sixlauncher updated for me and my friends, and now we can't join any servers. We all get stuck on the loading screen. Looking forward to 1.7.2.4.1

beta patch download website is down, so I cant play 1.7.2.3 or 1.7.2.4, great. im stuck in the middle.

Same but I gotta work. Probably won't play until Monday, now... Well I didn't use six updater. I usually assume its battleye updating when it sticks like this.

nope, the mod is running even better than before, loading time is decreased by ALOT, and everything works as intended :)

nope, i updated manually, never ever trust 3rd party programs to do the job, do it yourself, its also easier and you can actually trust it.

all you gotta do is find the RAR files you need to DL manually, like here

Then download all the ones that has RAR, you dont really need the txt but you can ofc download those if your curious about what they have changed, i also launch the game using the beta launcher in the arma 2 folder :)

Edit: im just gonna help a little bit more.

what you need to do is unpack all these files into your dayz->addons folder, and overwrite and then it should work, i am currently using the 95417 OA beta patch aswell :) and then join the NL36 server :)

You need 1.7.2.4 with arma 95389 or newer. If you don't have this arma version you will not be able to join 1.7.2.4 servers.

yeah but they probably already have this, remember that when you use a 3rd party program(or so i think its called) like dayz updater and launcher, everything that can go wrong WILL go wrong at one point, i had my Arma 2 overwrite my Arma 2 OA once, whenever i launched arma OA it would launch arma 2, now this i have never ever seen before, this was thanks to steam.

Other issue was six launcher overwriting my battleye messing up my game totally, it kept downgrading my battleye so i will never use that lousy and badly coded program anymore, and do not use steam unless you are verifying your game, do not let it update or anything IF it is possible that is

all of them :) you can leave out the txt files if you want, you dont really need them unless you are curious of what the new changes are

id advise you to after downloading, put them in a folder and go from the top towards the buttom, it makes it go faster and its easier, then just hit overwrite and overwrite them all 2 by 2 :)

I think Aram server went down at some poit so Six Udater has upgraded the DayZ version but not Arma 2 beta patch. Normally, ifsomeone is stuck on loading - it means they are running wrong arma version.

I use steam and never had a problem

But i can confirm this, everyone whos using shitlauncher are not able to play

I couldn't help but notice that relaunching Six Launcher caused an attempt to update and reverted my game version (visible in the main menu) from 95417 back to 95389. I initially upgraded to 95417 via the manual method.

Now I'm no expert, but either it's done a perfect revert or my files are now in a jumbled mess of a beta that is now "partially" up to date. I don't find either way ideal.

it should be a perfect revert, it was for me in my case, it didnt update my game aswell and just kept downgrading it everytime, thats also one of the reasons i left sixlauncher

@viktor, you are very lucky, but as i said, with time it will come, something will go wrong at some point thats why ive totally left steam when it comes to arma, i do not want it to have anything to do with my arma as i would like to control the game by myself :) then i know how to fix it if i go ahead and screw up :D

i will remember that cause of "stuck on loading" funny enough i have never had that error before, i guess im doing something right when it comes to patching this mod hehe :D
