Stuck on the ocean floor!!

Long story short I broke my leg and crawled into the ocean. I dropped like a rock and now cannot get out. The screen is almost all white, and I have no clue on how to start a new game. What should I do?

Press ESC and click "Respawn".

It will not let me. Respawn and save are shaded out.

Try and relog? Otherwise, all I can think of is submitting a bug report to the dev heaven site.

I got it!! I kept spamming the esc key and noticed that respawn was up for a brief moment. So I quickly pushed it :D
