Should zombies be deadly?

Yes.

Should zombies run faster than the humans?

Perhaps...

Should zombies spot you and suddenly move into ultra-sprint with a zig-zagging pattern... faster than any human body is able to change direction?

Nope.

I have NO problems with pack of zombies, also no problems with them running at a fair clip. However their animation needs to be slowed (or adjusted)
