Tents Swallow only High-End Sniper Rifles??

Greetings,

This has happen to me on several occassions. All other weapons and loot all save(after the initial swallowing of loot) except my damn sniper rifles. I would think my other weapons would've been taken if it was another bandit raiding my camp, so it cannot be that plus the ammo still remains. Anyone else have this problem?

Btw Love the game!!! Best damn game I've ever played......

Thats kinda funny, the only thing my tent hasn't eaten is the 50cal sniper :P

Your tent wasn't on de105, was it?

Either way, your stuff obviously got stolen.

Other people maybe have had no use for normal assault rifles since they are abundant...

You may be right but I would think they would take the ammo also. I will just have to hunt another one down.

The only thing I've ever had disappear from a tent is an AS50. Just sayin.

I'd say your lucky thats all it took, we lost alot finding out ours didn't save, it was all stuff we had just moved from someone elses tent into our own though :P so not too heartbreaking lol

Like I said in another post. I would save some trash in the tent after the initial set up and once the server restarts it should be safe to add more important loot....except sniper rifles :)

had a tent eat, range finder, 2xnightvision, toolbox and a DMR all in 1 go ... wasnt looted stuck em in and saved 10 minutes later friend logs in and wnats some nvg's so i go to grab them and the tents empty ive been sat there for 10 minutes so it was the tent :(

Maybe it was a hacked in weapon? IDK. Just saying. If you found of the ground in a spawn area, then that sucks. But if it was a player found weapon could be. Maybe when the gun is out in about the world like tents, the server checks if its legit. If not WIPE!. imo

Probably has to do with the "weapons/tents with ID over million" fix in the next patch :D
