Denver Servers

Maybe this will open the eyes of the players and make them realize how much goes into hosting servers. This is a picture of my "Laundry Room" in my apartment...

Servers.jpg

Countless hours, blood, sweat, and tears goes into running these servers for people. Keep in mind that we(Us server hosters) don't get paid for any of this. I personally do not accept donations for my servers. I do this out of pure joy. And for the people that sit around and bitch about small problems you take away my enjoyment for this. We all have jobs. We all have lives. I do this as a hobby and for personal entertainment. Not because I HAVE too.

Please people. Realize what us server hosters do for you and love us ;)

Regards,

Dizzymagoo

Haha but as I pay 164.95/Mo at home for 40/20 unmetered bandwidth. I can't really fork out the extra to pay for co-location. Im only 19... haha

Precisely! I refuse to accept donations. I sold my car and bought a motorcycle to save money on gas and insurance so I could afford a better internet connection ;)

Best part. The desktop server is actually new. Doesn't even have an OS on it. I didn't buy a CD Drive for it because I usually don't put them in my servers or my home desktop. But now im pulling my hair out because I have no removable USB media to use to install Server 2008 R2 onto it. So there it sits... Waiting for an OS...
